To establish a Maori ASSEMBLY of Maori decision makers, policy experts, Maori self governance by Maori for Maori, with the ASSEMBLY answerable to Maori people. The Reality: The British Crown after hundreds of years of Colonial Rule have devolved Autonomous power to the Nations of SCOTLAND and WALES. These countries have set up their own Parliaments and are self Governing their own peoples. With the New Zealand Crown admitting and addressing the grievances of Maori via the TREATY OF WAITANGI COMMISSION, The New Zealand Crown of Aotearoa, New Zealand must now devolve self Governance to the Maori Nation. A Nation within a Nation governance is already in practice in SCOTLAND and WALES. The Delivery: Maori are ready for this next step. In March 2000 the KO HUIARAU Maori Parliament opens its first Parliament. The Court will practice the old Maori Lore/Law and will not and cannot operate As a political movement, its current constitution does not allow this. MAURI PACIFIC: The tight 4 Maori MPs left New Zealand first because of broken promises and all power to them. Their sleeping with the National Party is for 2 reasons, to Keep their high profile and to establish MAURI PACIFIC. Sadly they sign their own fate by sleeping with the old enemy National. When the late Matiu Rata formed the party it was to establish Mana Maori, Mana Wahine. The fact that Nellie Rata has abandoned the party founded by her late husband is Testament to A volatile political climate. The Alliance will not sanction Mana Motuhake Policies. The 62 year Marriage with Ratana and the Labour Party are over, PIRI WIRI TUA MOVEMENT reclaims the Mana for and on behalf of the Morehu and we are willing to stand up and be counted.
